Ron Ellis Pickups
About 10 years ago, I heard of a a guitar pickup maker based in North County, San Diego named Ron Ellis. Through coincidence and knowing people in the guitar playing community, I was fortunate enough to meet Ron. At the time his business was a side gig, operating on the weekends in his garage. Eventually we talked websites and I was hired to create his website.
Ron needed a shopping cart solution, hosting, SEO, responsive web design and development. I performed and delivered all the tasks. We chose Shopify above other solutions due to the demand for product and organization of inventory and sales performance. I took a template and customized to his liking, set up the cart, inventory, categories, pay format and shipping. After launch, I performed and maintained SEO.
The site performs well, as he is one of the premier builders of guitar pickups, but now has a wider audience and footprint among consumers and peers.
